St. Patrick’s Day in Lake View

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend (Friday, March 15 through Sunday, March 17) will bring large numbers of revelers to our Lake View Community, particularly on Saturday, March 16, the day of the downtown parade.

Our 19th District will assign extra police to the area to take enforcement actions against activities that affect the quality of life of our residents.  Parking will be restricted on the 3400 N. to 3600 N. blocks of Clark Street on Saturday.  Clark Street will only be closed to vehicular traffic if deemed necessary by the police.

Nevertheless, area residents should avoid Clark Street, particularly on Saturday after the parade (about 2:00 PM).  As always, report any problems you observe to 911.
