  • Clark -Newport to Addison (both sides of the street)

        9/13 from 2:00pm-Midnight

  • Clark -Waveland to Irving Park (east side only)

  • Clark- Patterson to Addison (west side only)

  • Irving Park – Seminary to Southport (both sides)

  • Racine – Grace to Green Lot Entrance (East Side Only)

Limo and Taxi Information

In an effort to minimize the impact of traffic in the community around Wrigley Field, City departments have established the following pickup and drop-off regulations for taxis, limousines and car services for the concerts:

  • Limousines and car services must stage along Irving Park Road. All pickups must occur on Irving Park Road between Clark and Seminary (east of Clark).
  • Taxis are available and will be staged on Clark south of Addison along the southbound (western) curb.

Parking is available at the Cubs Remote Lot, located at 3900 N. Rockwell, with a free shuttle to the concert. The lot opens at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday September 13th.

What to Expect as Concert Setup/Takedown Takes Place

September 10th thru September 15th

  • Trucks, Crane(s), Forklift(s), etc. will beginning lining up on Waveland at approximately 7am (9/10) and proceed to Sheffield where they will be unloaded and move materials into the Ballpark.
  • Throughout the week, Wrigley Field will be transformed into a concert venue with the installation of staging, sound and lighting equipment. Seating areas will be added to Field.
  • The Lights at Wrigley Field will be on throughout the week as the Concert Setup/Takedown takes place as follows: Please note these times listed are approximate and subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

1. Wednesday September 10th until Midnight

2. Thursday September 11th until Midnight

3. Friday September 12th until 11pm

4. Saturday September 13th Overnight until Sunday morning

  • Trucks, Crane(s), Forklift(s), etc. will begin lining up on Waveland Saturday approximately 9pm where they will be loaded as materials are removed from the Ballpark.
  • Trucks will be traveling from the Green Lot at Grace & Racine to the ballpark during both setup and takedown. All work should be complete Monday 9/15

Sound & Lighting Checks

Sound Checks will begin on Thursday September 11th and are anticipated to be complete between 9pm and 10pm. Sound checks should also be anticipated on the day of the concert.
Lighting Checks will begin on Thursday September 11th and are anticipated to be complete by midnight. Additional lighting checks will take place on both Friday and Saturday.

Concert Day Highlights

  • Gates open at 5pm on Saturday 9/13
  • Performance begins at approximately 7pm with opening act Cheap Trick
  • Residential Permit Parking will be in effect. Vehicles parked in violation of the Residential Permit Parking regulations are subject to ticket.
  • Priority Towing will take place in all special areas designated as No Parking (Clark, Addison, & Waveland).
  • Vehicles parking in violation of parking regulations resulting in a public hazard, such as Bus Stops No Parking/Tow Zones, crosswalks, driveways, alleys, etc. will be strictly enforced and are subject to Ticket & Tow.
  • The Cubs Hotline will be open One Hour before until Two Hours after the concerts (1-866-4CPD TOW).
  • During Pre & Post Concerts, at the discretion of the Police and/or OEMC, Addison between Racine and Halsted may be closed to vehicular traffic as a Public Safety measure. Traffic will then be rerouted North/South on Racine/Halsted. While this may be inconvenient, public safety is of the utmost importance.
  • “Hospitality Teams” an independent third party hired by the Chicago Cubs will be throughout the neighborhood between 9pm and 1am. The team aims to provide a visible presence in the community and provide post-concert crowd observation and incident response. Look for the team in bright yellow jerseys!
  • Residents are encouraged to contact either the Night Game Hotline or 911 to report problems and issues
  • TAILGAITING AND ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION ON THE PUBLIC WAY ARE PROHIBITED AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED
