Thank you, Wrigley Field Neighbors

Thank you to the Wrigley Field Neighbors for their generous support to donate food and supplies during last week’s Chicago Cares Supply Drive in our Toyota Camry Lot. Together, we collected and donated more than 1,700 groceries and supplies for individuals and families in the South and West sides who have had little to no access to groceries and essential items.

The Cubs’ Toyota Camry Lot is now an official host site for a second Chicago Cares Supply Drive taking place Saturday, June 13. Wrigley Field Neighbors can drop off much-needed items in the Toyota Camry Lot (1126 W. Grace St.) from 9 a.m. to noon CDT Saturday, June 13, including:

  • Groceries (no frozen items or items requiring refrigeration): Packaged and canned meals, pantry staples, shelf-stable nonperishables and drinking water

  • Infant Items: Diapers, wipes, baby formula, baby food, distilled water and powdered milk

  • Household and Hygiene Products: Hand and body soap, sanitary pads, toilet paper, facial tissue/Kleenex, dish soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and box fans

  • First-Aid and PPE: 70% isopropyl alcohol, face masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, first-aid kits, bandages and tape

  • Cleaning Supplies: Garbage bags, push brooms, cleaning solvents (like bleach, Pine-Sol, Clorox Wipes), Magic Erasers, rags and sponges

Please note items donated should be new and unopened. Perishable items or glass bottles will not be accepted. While dropping off items, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Cubs associates will be present to help maintain social distancing guidelines, facilitate drop-off and address any questions.

Please feel free to share this information with friends and family if they are interested in supporting. We hope that you will support in any way you can.
