The meeting was called to order by President Mike Zink at 6:01 pm, over Zoom.

• 46th Ward Update James Cappleman
  • Mask mandate will be ending Feb 28^th
  • 640 W Irving Park Road does not have any updates, but they will now have to have another community meeting to move forward
  • 19^th district CAPS office has crime updates
  • Homeless encampment in Uptown may be the biggest in the city.
  • Ward maps redrawing will most likely go to a referendum and will be very costly. June 28^th will be the vote on the referendum

• 44th Ward Update Calvin Cottrell
  • Annual Wrigley Field meeting will be March 3^rd over zoom.
  • 19^th District will be hosting a vaccine drive this Wednesday.
  • Looking for community feedback on Waveland being a one way east bound street from Sheffield to Whole Foods Parking lot entrance.

• Congressman Quigley – Yoni Pizer
  • Ukraine, Russia is invading Ukraine there are no break away regions, there is only Ukraine. Congressman believes that strict sanctions are very important.
  • Act for ALS has been signed, a bill that Congressman Quigley was the sponsor of.
  • Tax season is upon us. There are tips and tricks to help get a tax refund fast.   • Inflationary measures to help ease include releasing oil from the strategic oil reserve.

• Cubs Update – Heather Way Kitzes
  • Winterland ended this past weekend.
  • Traffic operations meeting around ballpark meeting coming up. Look for the information on the Alderman’s web sites.

  • Opening day still scheduled for April 4^th
  • Cubs charities are doing a 5^th year of the school all-star grant. A matching grant of up to $25,000.

• Treasurers Report
  • Not many expenses since the beginning of the year.
  • Payment for sculpture will be due soon along with picking out a sculpture location.
• Board election is at the next meeting. Currently 8 spots open for 8 Candidates.
• Green Team,
  • Park and street cleanups will be coming soon. Lookout for dates in April to do park/street cleanings.
  • Working on getting some street murals done at Wendt Park. Most of the leg work is done need about $11,000 to get done.
