Picnic by the Lake

BYO food, beverages, a grill, or anything you need to enjoy a great summer day on the lake and meet new friends from your neighborhood. ELVN will supply the games for both kids and adults.
Architectural tour of Alta Vista Terrace

3800 N. Alta Vista Terrace (Grace St. two blocks west of Sheffield)
10am — 11:30am
East Lakeview’s architectural gem. This stunningly picturesque block, finished in 1904, will transport you to 1890’s London. It was designated Chicago’s first historic district and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The tour, led by architectural experts from Preservation Chicago, will include a rare look at the interior of one of these unique jewel box homes.

Celebrate the end of summer at ELVN’s 25th AnnualOktoberfest party! Live music, beer, German food or veggie options, a silent auction including one-of-a-kind Cubs memorabilia, a raffle, and enough games and Geműtlichkeit to easily get you through the winter.

Murphy’s Rooftop company will host an evening of baseball and community. Game time is 6:40 with views into Wrigley Field. Food, Beer and wine are included in the festivities.
