The 46th Ward is hosting a Zoom informational session on June 6, 2024 at 6:00 regarding the proposed development at 4006 N. Sheridan, which currently houses the Holiday Club, El Palmar, and Roots Smoke Shop, as well as multifamily rental housing. You can register today.

The annual 19th District Police Appreciation Day will take place on June 7, 2024 all day at the 19th District Police Station, 850 W. Addison. Residents, businesses, and community groups can stop by any time to show their gratitude to the staff of the 19th District for their service to the community. If you wish to make a monetary or in-kind donation, please contact Jennifer Dedes at (773) 404-4027.

The next Beat 1925 Meeting will take place on June 18, 2024 at 6:30 at the Gill Park Fieldhouse, 825 W. Sheridan Road (see flyer below).

The next monthly meeting of the 19th Police District Council will take place on June 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Third Space, 716 W. Addison Street.

ELVN’s annual Oktoberfest will take place September 15, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at Murphy’s Bleachers.  This is ELVN’s annual fundraiser that always is one of the year’s highlights! If you have items that you would be willing to donate for the silent auction or any other donations, please contact Michael Zink at michaeljzink@yahoo.com.

Finally, residents of the 19th Police District are encouraged to keep the contact information for a Mental Health Mobile Crisis Response (see attached flyer). The organizations on the flyer are excellent sources of assistance in the time of mental health crisis.
